Fragile X was a show compiled by the Theatre II students in the fall trimester of 2009-2010. By using the unaltered words, stories, and poems of those with autism (or those who care for individuals with autism), the class (and audience) was given an insight into the inner lives of the autistic.

With themes of understanding, compassion, and acceptance, this show not only showed the beauty of inclusion, but also the underlying brilliance that autism often hides to those on “the outside”. Because of this, the show became a learning experience for those who are new to autism, and a reflection of reality for those who live with autism daily.
